Job description:
House-keepers required - 30 hours per week minimum
We are seeking housekeepers to start in late December 2024 until April/May 2025.
Position involves motel cleaning in small, independently run motels.
Approx. 30+ hours per week over 6 day roster - hours usually 9am-2pm. Extra hours available if you are happy to do linen, grounds work, maintenance etc. Local hotels are also offering pm work. Car not essential but handy if you wish to explore the area.

Housekeeping experience given preference but we are happy to train the right person.
Self-contained, private accomodation available onsite (with wifi) at subsidised rate ($140).

Located in Haast - approx. half way between Wanaka/Queenstown and and the Glacier region. Haast is the perfect spot if you are into bush hikes, remote beaches, you need time out or want to save some money.

Please be aware that Haast is a beautiful but fairly remote town with a population of 240 people - not for those seeking the bright lights!

Job requirements - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

Friendly and hard-working.
Able to function as part of a small team and also able to work independently.
Good attention to detail and be fussy with cleaning.
Honest, reliable and be able to cope with feedback (especially while learning).
Good English language, written and numeracy skills.
Applicant must be legally able to work in NZ (work visa / NZ citizen, tax number, NZ bank account).
