Nelson is usually the sunniest town in New Zealand, which makes it a great spot for tourists and for the fruit and vegetable industry. There is plenty to do: you can explore the city and its sights, or you could go on fantastic outdoor adventures. There are lovely lakes, clear ocean water, stunning rivers, majestic mountains as a scenic background, and mysterious forests. It's no surprise that people like to look for jobs in Nelson so they can afford to stay there for longer. Nelson is the second largest apple region in NZ, so you can find plenty of apple related work. There are also vegetable farms and vineyards that often look for seasonal help.
