Calf Rearer And Dairy Support Role

A calf rearing opportunity for a 5-month fixed term position beginning 1st July finishing end November is available on our dairy farm. Farm is located 15 minutes from Methven and Ashburton and 30 minutes to Mt Hutt ski field. Christchurch is a 1-hour drive away.
The role is open to NZ citizens, permanent residents and working holiday visa holders only and applicants need to be available to attend interviews on farm. You need to be self-motivated, time efficient, hardworking and self-learner. You will be part of a team of 5. Experience rearing calves would be a great benefit but not essential, we would accept an applicant with limited or no experience for the right person.
Hours can be tailored to suit to a point, but we will require you to be available mornings and afternoons for a minimum of 6-8 hours each day. You must have a full or restricted drivers licence, accommodation is provided or you can travel if based locally. There will also be wider opportunities to assist with other tasks on the dairy farm.
