Godfrey Pest Management Limited is a company that works in some of the most beautiful iconic parts of the South Island high country doing important work that helps protect the environment. You will get to see and go to areas very few people have the opportunity to experience.
We currently are involved in environmental field work in some of these areas and are looking for the right people to join our large team. The work is physically demanding and requires fitness and stamina.
Previous experience and or relevant qualifications in conservation or pest plants control would be advantageous but not essential.
Full training in the use of chainsaws, Health and Safety, and potentially the operation of 4WD vehicles and UTVs will be provided for the right applicant.
We are based just outside Christchurch and our work takes us as far north as Molesworth and Kaikoura and as far south as Mt Cook. Some of our remote worksites require staying away during the week in shared accommodation with all meals supplied.
Requirements:
Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
Honest and reliable
Ability to follow instructions from Team Leader
Physically fit and a positive can-do attitude
