The Brown Pub, located in the picturesque rural and alpine town of Mt Hutt, Methven, is currently offering a permanent long-term opportunity. As the sister hotel to the famous Blue Pub, we pride ourselves on our historic charm and warm hospitality. The location of The Brown Pub is ideal, as it is just a short drive away from eight different ski fields, including the famous Mt Hutt Ski Area. This makes it a perfect choice for ski enthusiasts, bringing tourists from all around the world. Inside the pub, you will be greeted with a warm welcome, and you can enjoy a refreshing cold beer, delicious food, and comfortable accommodation. We are seeking a passionate and customer-oriented individual to become a part of our front of house team. We have an exciting opportunity for a long-term, full-time position for someone with experience in front of house operations; having a duty manager's certificate would be a plus.

Our charming brown pub features a traditional country bar that hosts live music every Friday, a family-friendly restaurant, and comfortable accommodations upstairs. Join our fantastic team in this one of kind joint!

Able to work within a fast paced environment
High energy, enthusiastic and strong work ethic
Strives to provide outstanding service every shift
Must be available weekends and evenings
Must have experience in front of house, a duty managers certificate is a advantage.
Friendly, approachable, with a “customer comes first” attitude.
