Job Description

Micro Farm Opportunity ( we are only 10000sqm )
a horse, 5 sheep, a pig, ducks , chickens , three cats and a dog

Location: Rural area with limited internet access.

Accommodation:
- Separate building with a heat pump, dry and warm. ( taken at this stage )
- Best if you have a van or driving accommodation for yourself.
- Tent accommodation is available if preferred.
- Continental breakfast provided (coffee, tea, bread, butter, jam, cereal, fruit, yogurt).

Work Details:
- 4-6 hours per day, Monday to Friday (weekends off).
- Most Fridays off, weather permitting.
-Tasks include: fixing fences, painting (indoor and outdoor), setting up high beets, weeding the glasshouse, landscaping, moving earth, gravel, and bricks, painting, water blasting, and woodwork.
- Work can be done alone or with the host, depending on the task.
- Carpentry skills are a plus.

Food:
- Continental breakfast (coffee, tea, bread, butter, jam, cereal, fruit, yogurt).
- Snacks and fruit for lunch (DIY).
- Dinner provided.
- No alcohol, drugs, cigarettes, or vapes allowed.
- Personal luxury items (toothpaste, shower gel, chocolate, sweets, etc.) are the responsibility of the individual.

Leisure:
- Weekends off to explore or relax on the farm.
- Nearby attractions: Hunua Waterfalls, Clevedon Outlook and Waterfall, Kaiaua, bird viewing, Kawakawa Bay, Maraetai, Waiuku Beach.
- Additional activities: visiting museums, art galleries, pools, trekking, and beaches.

Requirements:
- Must have a car or van for transportation. ( there is no bus or ueber here )
- Maximum stay is 2 weeks unless a mutual agreement is reached. ( arrival on a Monday. leaving on Monday )

Daily Routine:
A typical day starts with breakfast at 8/9 AM, followed by work from 9/10 AM to 1/2 PM. ( however, I am flexible as long the tasks are done on that day ) 2 hours work/lunch break 30-60 min and followed by another 2 hours work, finish not later than 2.45 )

Afternoons and weekends are free for personal activities or exploring the area.


Skills and Experience:
No prior experience is required, but carpentry skills are a plus.
Willing to train beginners.

Health and Safety:
Follow all health and safety guidelines provided.

No specific vaccinations are required, but general health precautions are recommended.
