Tractor Driver

We are looking for a tractor driver to assist us with planting of sweet potato (kumara) and other farm tasks. You will need to be experienced in driving tractors and trailers. Work will starts immediate and we will prioritize applicants who will commit to end of planting season just before Christmas.  We are looking for honest and reliable people, keen to work in a friendly and fun team of locals and like minded travelers.

Dargaville is located at the west coast of Northland. Ripiro Beach is New Zealand’s longest drivable beach. There is lots to explore, like the Pouto lighthouse, a whole graveyard of shipwrecks, fishing and gathering seafood. Furthermore, we are located next to the stunning Kaipara Harbour, the largest harbour in the southern hemisphere. The east coast and Whangarei are a one-hour drive away, which makes the area the perfect spot for surfing, diving and other watersports. There are also some amazing hikes and activities in the area, like the Waipoua Forest and Trounson Park with its magnificent Kauri trees, or you can go for a swim and relax at the Kai Iwi Lakes.
