Carpenter/joiner

Successful candidate will be working as a part of the team, where the main work is focused on the finishing work in high-end luxury homes and installing joinery. Our bread and butter is work with pre-finished materials, solid timber.

Main duties:

Measure, cut and build frames for houses, walls, windows, doors and staircases

Measure and install joinery, such as cabinets, shelves and more

Maintenance of existing structures and fittings

Check the work accuracy using levels and surveying equipment

Communicate with other trade professionals to ensure projects are completed in timely manner

Effective use of a large range of hand and power tools

Heavy lifting of building materials and structures

Measure, calculate, read and interpret plans and specifications

Understand work H&S requirements, policies and procedures in the construction industry

Minimum of 30hrs/week guaranteed

Full time job with a minimum of 6 months duration. Carpentry experience and eye for details is necessary. Candidates must hold a WHV or other open work visa.
