Need a bed and a rest during your adventure holiday to NZ - somewhere interesting, peaceful and private - in exchange for 3 hrs work a day?
We have endless landscaping, gardening and creative building tasks that need volunteers and helpers year round. In exchange we can offer you private space in a quirky 1950s Christchurch bus, pretty basic but with a little wood stove, plenty of firewood, a Queen bed, plus a separate little cabin with bunks, and a kitchenette with fridge, gas stove and basic cooking utensils. A compost toilet and garden shower room are 100m walk away, so you will need to love nature and be robust in your attitude!
We are 10 minutes drive from the bustling commuter town of Rangiora, so your own vehicle is recommended. 20 mins to forest tramps and a surfers beach
