Hi Travellers
If you are seeking temporary sanctuary as you travel NZ, we have a very comfortable single bed, in a sweet and simple private space, a converted pony stable that we are happy to share with those looking for a nature experience. It overlooks our 2.5 acre organic wilderness garden. It is warmed by the sun and has no electricity but plenty of warm blankets and a lovely view.
In exchange we invite you to share your creative gifts and talents with us, for 2 hrs a day, such as painting, gardening, building, photography, cooking, cleaning, whatever you enjoy. Leaving you plenty of time to rest and relax and enjoy our space and the surrounds of North Canterbury.
Additionally we have a community space warmed by a real fire and lots of creative activities to take part in that you can use during your stay, to socialize with others and of course power up your devices! A garden shower room and compost toilet are also available. You'll need to be quite self-sufficient with your food and cooking - we have a BBQ and outdoor kitchen project still underway!
